Peppa Pig lives with her loving, but slightly bumbling father, Daddy Pig, her very sensible Mummy Pig and her little brother George. Together they work through some of life’s little obstacles, laughing and supporting one another along the way.
Peppa’s father often does silly things like climbing out onto a branch of a tree to reach a kite even through he is far too heavy for the branch. He then crashes to the ground and the narrator quickly interjects that he is unhurt. This behaviour demonstrates to childen that parents make mistakes and are not invincible, but also demonstrates behaviours that could be very dangerous if imitated.
