Points to consider
Words of caution
Promotes potentially unhealthy eating habits:
- Fruity Fizz makes an appearance in a number of episodes and is a very popular drink.
- Farmer Fred is “growing” fields of iced lollies. His farm also contains hills of iced cupcakes and sweet muffin trees.
Positive aspects
- promotes creative thinking
- encourages an atmosphere of friendliness, teamwork and helpfulness.
Questions to ask
- Is there any other way that Engie could have solved that problem?
- Do you think that a fruity fizz drink would be good for a machine in real life?
- What types of food can be grown on a farm?
- Parents can discuss with their children foods that are made as well as foods that are grown and can talk about the importance of a healthy diet
