Synopsis
Dr. Otter looks after the health and well being of the small forest community in which he lives. He helps his friends and neighbours out of tight spots and patches them up when they injure themselves.
Points to consider
Words of caution
- While building a playground for the neighbourhood children three adults are accidentally injured. The extent of the injuries were not shown but the characters are later seen with ample bandaging and some pain.
- While four young rabbits are staying at Dr. Otter’s house a colleague is repeatedly the victim of “accidents” including slipping in honey and falling over, and stepping on a roller-skate and falling into the pond.
Positive aspects
The show demonstrates:
- caring
- compassion
- teamwork
- a sense of community
- the realistic consequences of actions.
