Connie is a young mischievous cow who is curious about absolutely everything, which can sometimes cause problems. Every day is an adventure for Connie who explores the farm and surrounding countryside where she lives making all sorts of new friends in the process.
Connie gets stuck in the mud and a butterfly gets a sheep to ram her so that she will be unstuck. It works and Connie is thrown into the air, when she lands she is unhurt. Children may need to be reminded that, while this worked in the story, running at and ramming people is not a good idea.
Demonstrates a child’s sense of wonder and curiosity and depicts the value of seeing the magic and beauty in the simple things of life.
