Synopsis

Bill and Ben live in Flowerpots in the back of a garden. They spend their days exploring and having little adventures with the other creatures that share the garden: a weed, a sunflower, a rose, a snail, a spider, a hedgehog a squirrel etc., all the while keeping hidden from the gardener who doesn’t know they live there.

Points to consider

Words of caution

  • Sometimes Bill and Ben like to play tricks and, while they are not violent, they sometimes behave in a way which parents would not like children to imitate.

Positive aspects

  • working together
  • helping each other
  • looking after others who share the garden

Questions to ask

  • How might you have felt if someone had played that trick on you?
  • What could Bill and Ben have done instead?
