Synopsis

Archibald the Koala is the guardian of the island of Rastepappe, which he shares with many eccentric friends. Archibald is a detective to whom everyone turns when there is a problem to solve. Archibald’s ways are often unique but he usually gets to the bottom of the situation. The video on which this review is based contains several episodes including: The Heatwave, Archduke’s Amnesia and The Haunted House.

Slapstick comedy includes:

  • Edison the scientist blows up a cloud sucking machine and gets thrown off
  • brass band instruments fall off a truck and onto some people.

Accidental harm includes:

  • Archibald crashes his bike against a rock and gets knocked over by a rush of water
  • Archibald gets knocked out while trying to take food out of the oven and loses his memory

Scary scenes in The Haunted House include:

  • bats screeching
  • someone falls out of a window
  • Archibald dresses as a ghost and runs through the house making ghost noises
