Synopsis

Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit and Piglet believe the Hundred Acre Wood is being invaded by nasty 'heffalumps' and so go out to catch one. Meanwhile, Roo, who has been left behind, meets a new friend in Lumpy who turns out to be a young heffalump.

Points to consider

Words of caution

There is a some slapstick comedy and accidental harm in this movie such as:

  • Tigger bounces out of control and gets hit on the head by a bowling ball
  • Roo and Lumpy have a food fight in Rabbit’s garden.

Positive aspects

  • overcoming prejudice

Questions to ask

  • Should Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit and Piglet have thought that heffalumps were nasty creatures before they met them?
  • Although it was good that Roo and Lumpy became friends, is it alright to talk to anybody we meet that we don’t know?
  • Should Roo and Lumpy clean up Rabbit’s garden and Pooh’s house?
