Young Media Australia

Membership of Young Media Australia (YMA) is open to any organisation or individual who supports YMA’s aims, and who pays the relevant annual subscription.

YMA’s aims are:
“To promote a quality media environment for Australian children and young people, and to raise community awareness of children’s needs in relation to the media”.
 

YMA’s membership rates are as follows, and are due and payable by June 30 each year:
Individuals: $55 per annum
State- or locally based organisations: $75 per annum
National organisations: $225 per annum
 

YMA member benefits include:
Free subscription to small screen, YMA’s monthly news review of developments in children’s media in Australia and overseas. This delivered by email wherever possible.

Receipt of YMA Headlines: an occasional email update bulletin.

Access to YMA’s extensive research library.

Assistance with media issues that are of concern.
 

What members can contribute:
Feedback to YMA on current media issues, or on YMA’s services.

Contributing your skills or experience to specific projects.

Participation in preparation of submissions.

Support for YMA’s activities over a wide range of media forms.

Providing a link or mentioning our services on your website or publication.
